You can finally drop the explanation =) Unfortunately I get no further information other than whether the extension is in public/sandbox stage. What they actually did to it during the 6 weeks it waited for approval I don't know.

Hotkey support for this is something that I want to look into. The main thing I want it to be is something in the preferences pane where you specify the combination needed to trigger the change. Hopefully once I've resolved the issue with the automatic configuration setting in Firefox I can look further into this feature.

Great extension! Very useful in the UAE where so many websites are blocked. One thing that would be great is a hotkey to toggle the proxy on/off, is there a way of doing that?
Thanks.

So has Mozilla always been this slow to approve updates or is it because they are overwhelmed with 3.5 issues? This is an awesome plug in! Works great at work! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your efforts. Just one comment
In the Firefox upgrade from version 3.0.1 to 3.5, I can't found the update to the previous version of the plugin, in the updates list.
I found it searching google.
Thanks

Awesome! Thanks a lot for your efforts. I know you do this on your own time, but this is really one of the extensions I just really really need.
You have made my work much easier. Thanks!

Hi Jad,
Unfortunately the button that was in QuickProxy didn't actually save the settings, which is why it has been removed in the latest release. I'm still working on that to find out why it isn't saving the preferences correctly.
Regarding the Thunderbird port, this will be done when I have time to look into it properly, but unfortunately due to my current workload I'm not sure when this will happen.

Cheers for the update ... I was working with a hacked 3.0 version ... :)
Is there any chance you can put back the button to open up the Network settings dialog box on the preferences menu. Ta
and I'm sure you've been asked this before, but since we've installed Lightning in our Thunderbird, is there any chance that we can get QuickProxy for thunderbird?
