A New Beginning

A cute phrase, or two,
I couldn’t see.
Sweet words, it seems,
Eluded me.

But no matter how hard
I did seek,
Words came out harsh and
Never sleek.

But the three I found,
Do hold true,
And those three words were
I love you.
